The Strategic Narrative- Communications Advisor for Deep Tech Ventures
The Strategic Narrative
An AI advisor for deep-tech founders, built from the book.
Communication in deep tech is strategic infrastructure, not a soft skill. Most founders discover this the hard way — mid-round, mid-keynote, or mid-regulatory review — when the narrative that carried them through seed stops working for the audiences they now need to reach.
The Strategic Narrative is an advisor built directly from my book Strategic Communications and Leadership in Deep-Tech. You give it a brief; it returns a structured strategic plan grounded in the book's thirteen chapters and core frameworks. You upload a pitch deck or press release; it returns a critique mapped to specific chapters, with concrete rewrites. It runs in your own Claude account, privately — your briefs, documents, and strategy never touch my systems.
What it does
Plan mode. You provide your domain, your technology readiness level, the audience you need to land, and the situation. The advisor returns a diagnosis of the core communicative tension, the frameworks that genuinely apply to your case, a full CLEAR narrative (Context, Logic, Essence, Analogy, Relevance), a stakeholder map that translates your message for each audience operating under different logics, a three-phase roadmap calibrated to your timeline, risks and boundaries, and the chapter references that underwrite the whole plan.
Audit mode. You upload a pitch deck, investor memo, website copy, keynote transcript, grant application, or press release. The advisor returns a structured critique: what the document gets right, what it gets wrong, which framework each issue violates, where in the document it appears (by slide or page), why it matters at your stage, and a concrete rewrite you can use. Nothing vague. No "make it more compelling." Specific replacement language.
Framework deep-dives. Any framework surfaced in a plan — CLEAR, the Alignment Triangle, Ecosystem Embeddedness, Executive Presence, Investment Worthiness Signalling, Category Creation — can be opened as a dedicated deep-dive applied to your situation, with worked examples and watch-outs.
What it refuses to do
The advisor will not use language like "revolutionary," "game-changing," or "disruptive." It will not write slogans. It will push back on overclaim and flag it as a credibility tax. If your TRL 6 is being marketed as TRL 7, it will tell you. If your press release antagonises the strategic corporates you need as partners, it will say so. If your current framing treats two audiences as one, it will separate them.
It is a senior counsel, not a cheerleader.

Who this is for
Founders, CEOs, and senior communicators at deep-tech ventures — biotech and therapeutics, climate and energy hardware, advanced materials, robotics and autonomy, quantum, space and aerospace, advanced manufacturing, AI infrastructure.
Especially useful if you are:
Preparing a Series A, B, or growth round and need to land with multiple audiences at once
Approaching a regulatory or policy conversation where framing will shape the outcome
Navigating a crisis or reputational moment in a technical domain
Rewriting your public narrative ahead of a category-creation push
Building internal alignment across scientific, commercial, and operational teams

The advisor runs in your own Claude account. Your brief, your uploaded documents, your stakeholder details, your strategy — none of it reaches me. I do not see what you generate. I do not store it. I do not analyse it. That was the first design decision, not the last.
You need an active Claude Pro subscription (€18/month, via Anthropic directly) to run the advisor. Most deep-tech teams already have this.
About the book
Strategic Communications and Leadership in Deep-Tech is a thirteen-chapter treatment of the distinct communicative challenges deep-tech founders face — explaining technology across expertise gaps, signalling investment worthiness under uncertainty, leading multidisciplinary teams, creating categories before markets exist, and navigating the regulatory and societal interfaces that generic communications training never touches.
It was written for leaders who are tired of being told to "tell a better story" and want the underlying frameworks to build one.
FAQ
How is this different from a generic AI pitch coach? It is grounded in a specific, published body of work on deep-tech communications — not general pitching advice. It will push back on hype, it understands TRL-staged narrative architecture, and it knows that a regulator and a generalist VC are not the same audience. Generic AI pitch tools optimise for persuasion; this one optimises for translational authority.
Does the advisor replace working with a human communications advisor? No. It replaces the first draft, the second opinion, the Sunday-night audit of your own deck before Monday's meeting. Complex engagements — real crisis management, a deep category-creation push, a high-stakes regulatory campaign — still benefit from direct advisory. The advisor makes that direct work sharper by handling the layer beneath it.
What if the advisor says something I disagree with? Good — push back on it. It produces a structured plan you can revise through a follow-up interface, and it does not pretend to be infallible. Its role is to force the frameworks to surface, not to dictate the answer. The best use is as a provocation you then interrogate.
Is my data used to train anything? No. Your inputs go from your Claude account directly to Anthropic's API. I have no visibility into your use of the advisor, and nothing you produce with it trains a model belonging to me or anyone else.
Can my whole team use it? The licence is per buyer. If a team wants to deploy it more broadly, get in touch and I'll set up a team licence.
