WHO WE ARE

The Strategic Narrative has been founded by Ufuk Gur, Ph.D. Ufuk Gur, Ph.D. is a researcher, educator, and entrepreneur working at the intersection of deep-tech innovation, design science, and entrepreneurial ecosystems. She has worked as a researcher at TU Delft and VU Amsterdam, where she investigated how scientific and engineering breakthroughs transform into scalable ventures—particularly in climate deep tech, rare diseases, and advanced engineering domains.

Her academic foundations are rooted in her doctoral research on academic entrepreneurship in science and engineering and her masters degree and professional background in Public Relations. She examined how scientists and engineers navigate the commercialization process, translate research into ventures, and collaborate within complex ecosystems. This work continues to shape her scholarly inquiry into strategic communication and leadership in deep tech.

As an educator, she has designed and delivered modules in entrepreneurial engineering, deep-tech business model development, leadership in high-tech environments, and communicating complex technology. Her teaching integrates design science, narrative strategy, and systems thinking to prepare engineers, scientists, and founders to lead in rapidly evolving technological domains.

She brings a rare combination of strategic communication, narrative design, and leadership development to the deep-tech ecosystem—bridging analytical rigor with the storytelling and positioning capabilities that science-based ventures need to thrive.
