WHO WE ARE
The Strategic Narrative is led by Ufuk Gur, Ph.D. — a researcher, educator, and strategist working at the intersection of narrative strategy, innovation, and emerging technology. Her Ph.D. thesis is titled “Academic Entrepreneurship in Science and Engineering”.
Her postdoctoral research at TU Delft and VU Amsterdam examined how complex innovations become scalable ventures — how organizations navigate transformation, translate capability into market position, and build the narratives that carry them through change. That research now shapes her practice: helping deep tech ventures move through the transitions with clarity, coherence, and strategic intent.
She combines 17 years of academic rigor with a background in strategic communications and public relations, and has taught leadership and communication in rapidly evolving technological domains at university level. She brings a combination of strategic communications, narrative design, and leadership development to the deep-tech ecosystem bridging analytical rigor with the storytelling and positioning capabilities that science-based ventures need to thrive.
